About Me

Smiling man with short hair wearing a light gray collared shirt against a plain background.

Hi, I’m Trystan Conway.

I’m a physiotherapist turned consultant with experience building and scaling Allied Health services. I co-founded a national organisation that grew to more than 300 clinicians and over $15 million in annual revenue, which shaped my approach to service design, operations, financial sustainability and navigating complex reform.

Today I work with Allied Health providers across NDIS, Aged Care and the broader health sector, along with consulting firms that need specialist insight for larger or sector-wide projects. My goal is simple: help organisations build sustainable, high quality services without unnecessary complexity.

My Journey

Illustration of a person hiking with a backpack in a mountainous landscape, featuring clouds, location markers, and minimal vegetation.

I began my career as a physiotherapist working in Aged Care and disability services. Over time I moved into operations, quality, service design and strategic planning. As a director and co-founder of a rapidly scaling service, I saw firsthand the pressure that policy changes, funding constraints and workforce challenges place on providers.

Those years gave me a practical understanding of workforce management, service delivery, compliance, funding rules, financial modelling and organisational change. This lived experience underpins the advice and support I provide today.

Why I Started Conway Consulting Group

Allied Health organisations are often pulled in many directions. Leaders want to deliver great care, but they also need strong finances, clear systems, compliant practices and a workforce that can thrive.

I started Conway Consulting Group to help providers navigate this complexity with confidence. My mission is to support teams to build financially sustainable, high quality services that work in practice, not just on paper.

Whether you are a solo clinician building a new practice, an established provider restructuring or scaling, or a consulting team delivering sector projects, I provide clear strategy and hands-on support to help you move forward.

Independent and Conflict Free

I do not operate clinical services. This is a deliberate choice.

It means:

  • no referral competition

  • no financial interest in service delivery

  • no hidden agenda

  • completely objective advice focused only on your goals

Everything you share is treated with full confidentiality. My role is to provide honest, evidence-informed guidance that strengthens your service quality, financial foundations and long-term viability.
